What is Teen Parent Child Care?

Teen Parent Child Care is a program to help teen parents and pregnant teens finish their education and become good parents. The program offers child care and many family support services to teens through age 19.

Am I eligible?

Teen Parent Child Care is for teen parents and pregnant teens, age 19 or younger. Teens must be in high school or an approved education or work activity.

What benefits will I get?

Benefits include free child care, transportation, referrals, counseling, and parenting education.

How do I apply?

If you get TAFDC for yourself or your child, you should speak to your DTA caseworker about your eligibility for TPCC. The DTA is located at 9 Walnut Street, Worcester, MA 01609, telephone 508-767-3100. If you are not eligible for TAFDC or do not want to apply for TAFDC, you should contact Child Care Resources, 90 Madison Street, Worcester, MA 01608, telephone: 508-798-8112 or 1-800-952-9183.
