Health Law Advocates
Health Law Advocates is a small non-profit law firm that helps low-income Massachusetts residents who have legal problems with health care, such as MassHealth, private health insurance plans, Health Safety Net eligibility, and high medical bills not covered by insurance. To qualify for services, you must meet the income limits, and be unable to afford a private lawyer. Health Law Advocates is a statewide agency, but helping Worcester County residents is one of their priorities.
To apply, call Health Care Advocates at 617-338-5241 or call the Health Care for All Helpline at 1-800-272-4232. A staff member will ask you about your legal problem and do an intake interview over the phone.

Children's Law Center
The Children's Law Center is a private non-profit law firm that gives free legal services to children and youth in Massachusetts. Children must be under 18, or under 22 for special education cases, and unable to afford a private lawyer. The Children's Law Center provides:
- free legal advice and legal representation for children in crisis
- telephone assistance and referrals
- Children's Pro Bono Program for education cases

HIV Legal Services
HIV/AIDS legal services help HIV-positive residents deal with legal matters related to their HIV status. Legal services include free legal advice and representation for civil legal matters such as wills, powers of attorney, bankruptcy proceedings, access to public benefits, discrimination, breach of confidentiality, and custody options for legal dependents.

Disability Law Center
The Disability Law Center (DLC) is a private non-profit law firm that gives free legal assistance to Massachusetts residents with disabilities who have been discriminated against because of their disability.
The Disability Law Center helps with disability-related legal problems in these areas:
- Access to community services
- Special education
- Health care
- Disability benefits
- Rights and conditions in facilities
