Child Care Aware
Child Care Aware is a non-profit organization that helps parents find quality child care and child care resources in their community. The Child Care Aware toll-free number is 1-800-424-2246. You can find online tools on the Child Care Aware web site.
Pediatric Family Resource Center
The Pediatric Family Resource Center, located on the 2nd floor of the Benedict Building at UMass Memorial Children's Medical Center, offers parents a wide range of books, pamphlets, and videos about children's health and development. An online catalog is available at Pediatric Family Resource Center Collection. Parents can borrow materials for three weeks and can return what they borrow using free postage-paid mailers.
Medical librarians and specially trained parents at the Center also provide a reference service for families and health care providers who need specific information related to children's health.

Healthy Families Massachusetts
Healthy Families is a free parenting education and home visit program for young first-time parents. Healthy Families provides a trained home visitor to meet with new parents on a regular basis to offer support and information. Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Programs (CFCE)
Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Programs are a consolidation of four earlier programs that serve children from birth through school age: the Massachusetts Family Network (MFN), Community Partnerships for Children (CPC), the Parent-Child Home Program (PCHP), and Joint Family Support Programs (JFSP). CFCE programs may include home visits, parenting education, family literacy activities, playgroups, health and developmental screenings, referrals for benefit programs, parent support groups, outreach, and other support services.

Parent / Professional Advocacy League (PAL)
PAL is a statewide support and advocacy group for families of children with emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. You can call PAL's confidential, toll-free Parent Resource Network Line at 1-866-815-8122 for information, referrals, and support. The PAL web site has information about local support groups for Worcester residents.
