The Worcester Regional Transportation Authority (WRTA) is in charge of fixed route bus service and paratransit service throughout Worcester and surrounding towns. Elders, people with disabilities, and children qualify for reduced-cost transportation and other special services.

The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) provides public bus transportation along fixed routes throughout Worcester and its surrounding communities. Elders, people with disabilities, and children who ride the buses on regular routes are eligible for special discount bus fares.
WRTA Paratransit Services

Paratransit services are available for people who have disabilities that prevent them from using the fixed route bus system for some or all of their trips.
MassHealth members who need non-emergency transportation to and from medical appointments may be eligible for free dial-a-ride paratransit service, or reimbursement for private or public transportation costs.
